Proper Coffee Cold Drip is a blend of old Japanese style coffee making with a modern look and feel. Coffee, that after 12 hours of brew time produces a syrupy-sweet fusion that can only be enjoyed with time and patience.
The top water reservoir holds 1000ml of water. All vessels are made from glass including the top reservoir, filter funnel, and bottom coffee vessel. The process takes up to 12 hours at a recommend 43 to 47 drips per minute rate. The coffee maker features a glass coffee funnel with a fixed stone filter disk that will never have to be replaced and is also dishwasher safe. Creates a very cool visual of the coffee drip process as the coffee is slowly released from the stone filter. The final coffee made with some of the best 3rd wave coffee brands produces a sweet, flavorful coffee with a nice caffeine kick without the acidity common to a hot-brew method.
Coffee can be refrigerated for up to several weeks. You will get the best flavor with the first week of use.

I bought this item on Kickstarter. I was really pumped to buy my own cold brew coffee maker after having cold brew from some really great stores in town. I really like the idea of supporting someone's design on Kickstarter and giving them the chance to have their product made. I paid a premium over the cold brew machine I have now ($250 Kyoto style - this is $400).This machine is very flimsy. When you fill up the 1000ml water vessel, the top of the unit starts to spread outwards and twist because of the weight from the water. I emailed the designer about this a few times and he assured me that he doesn't have this problem. I'm not sure if he was listening, but his customer was having this problem and instead of confronting it and helping me find a way to make the machine better, he denied that anything was wrong. I had to wrap the 1000ml water vessel in hand towels because I was so afraid that the vessel would fall and break. When you fill it up with cold water, you get a little bit on condensation, which helps the vessel slip around even more.Also, the water vessel on top would stop dripping fairly often. The little nozzle that you turn is very crude and more than a few times I would find that the water had stopped dripping - always a bummer for everyone at work that looked forward to my coffee.Anyways. The creator of this device basically abandoned it. I moved on and found a much better machine that looks more appealing for less money.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

Just received the product today. Its definitely flimsy, not nearly as rigid as I had hoped, but I suspected with the shape of the device that this would be the case. I was hoping it would come with two carafe's but it only came with one. Over all it is as expected. Definitely larger than I thought it would be.
